To ensure a high-standard, professional environment for all entrepreneurs, speakers, and guests, the following regulations are mandatory for all participants of the UMT Business Fest.

1. Professionalism & Ethical Conduct

• Respectful Interaction: All attendees must behave professionally. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior toward fellow students, faculty, or guests will result in immediate removal.
• Integrity in Competition: Plagiarism of business ideas or cheating in technical modules will lead to instant disqualification and a ban from future UES events.
• Corporate Attire: As this is a Business Fest, we highly encourage Business Casual or Formal attire to maintain the professional spirit of the summit.

2. Campus Environment & Safety

• Strict Non-Smoking Policy: UMT is a green campus. The use of cigarettes, vapes, or pods is strictly prohibited. Possession will lead to confiscation and potential disciplinary action.
• Zero Tolerance Policy: Possession of illegal substances or weapons is strictly forbidden and will be reported to campus security and local authorities immediately.
• Property Respect: Any damage to UMT facilities, lab equipment, or event setups will be charged to the individual/team responsible.

3. Identification & Access

• Mandatory Badges: Your official UES-issued ID badge must be visible at all times. Entry to premium modules, workshops, and the networking lounge is restricted to badge holders only.
• Timings & Punctuality: Participants must strictly follow the event schedule. Late entry to pitching sessions or keynote speeches may not be permitted once the session has started.

4. Media & Data Privacy

• Photography Consent: By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for UES promotional purposes.
• Resume Sharing: Participants in recruitment-focused modules agree that their CVs/Portfolios may be shared with our official sponsors and hiring partners.
• Intellectual Property: While UES promotes your ideas, participants are responsible for their own IP. UES is not liable for the public disclosure of business secrets shared during open pitching rounds.

5. Security & Responsibility

• Personal Belongings: The organizing team and UMT are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep your laptops and kits with you at all times.
• Emergency Protocol: Any security or medical concerns must be reported immediately to the UES Help Desk or nearest volunteer.

6. Commitment to the Vision

By registering for the UMT Business Fest, you agree to uphold the values of the UMT Entrepreneurial Society. The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any team or individual found in violation of these guidelines.
